Creating PossibilOTs Therapy Services was founded in 2024 by founder and business owner Lauren Illencik, MOT, OTR/L, ECHM in order to create spaces that provide possibilities to individuals to live their lives fully no matter the injury, illness, or life change that may be upon them. After working in Level 1 Trauma Centers, outpatient clinics, and skilled nursing facilities as an occupational therapist, she continued to see that while patients could receive exceptional care from therapy professionals in the healthcare setting and could be given recommendations for safe living at home, there was still an unmet need to meet the patient where they spent the most of their time, their home. She set out to create a business that could help meet that need, create safer spaces, decrease falls for older adults, increase independence for young individuals facing a life changing injury, and create more accessible commercial spaces for all to enjoy. Whether it is aging in place, adapting to a new normal, ensuring a safe space for your child, creating an accessible business, or adapting a recreation space such as an RV or boat to allow you to bring new life to living, we are here for you!
